Madeline M. McIntosh

Attorney at Law

McIntosh Family CrestMadeline McIntosh is a native of Texas. She grew up learning the values of hard work, community, and family. Her interests reflect a range of endeavors throughout the course of her professional career. The values she was raised on have remained with her to this very day.

In fact, these ethics are what led her to open a practice dedicated solely to Social Security disability benefits. Her journey to get here has been an interesting and educational one – one that informs her Social Security disability practice in a comprehensive and unique way.

Non-Legal Professional Career

First-Hand Knowledge of Healthcare & Vulnerable Communities

At the start of her professional life, Madeline McIntosh was a Dental Hygienist, and then a Compliance HIPAA Manager. She worked extensively on compliance with HIPAA Regulations and other health-related matters. This experience lends her a deeper awareness of medical evidence and the privacy requirements required in your Social Security disability case.

What's more is that she was also a teacher in Special Education, ESL and Early Childhood through 6th grade. She worked with refugees, immigrants, and low-income students. In Special Education she worked with numerous children with autism, ADHD, ADD, and those students who were nonverbal and confined to a wheelchair. It instilled a deep understanding of vulnerable communities and the need for these persons to have their own voice. What this means to you is virtually the same. She will help you with your needs for Social Security disability benefits, so that you receive the benefits you may be eligible for.

"I've seen first-hand how the healthcare system can be, and I strive to do everything in my power to advocate for my clients who are eligible for disability."

Legal Career

Meticulous Document Review & Compilation

Madeline McIntosh started her solo law practice in Family-Based Immigration and Asylum cases. This position required the meticulous review of documents, but it also required special skills: to tell a story with those documents, to organize those documents in a thorough, informative, and complete manner, and to do so with no errors or gaps and all questions answered. This skill transfers well into her Social Security disability practice where your disability history will be reflected through forms documentation in that same thorough, informative, and complete manner.

Madeline McIntosh shifted her practice in 2017 and worked for the government as an Attorney Advisor in Disaster Claims, which had her ensuring legal sufficiency of all actions and instruments in proving ownership, closing, and disbursing of disaster loans. This work requires an ability to analyze and review varied documents in a very detailed manner, to save applicants time and money. What this means for you is simple: she has an eye to see things, meaning she will carefully review all your documents, identify problem areas to be addressed, identify evidence still needed, and complete all forms accurately and timely.

Commitment to Helping Those in Need

On a deeply personal level, Madeline McIntosh is committed to helping vulnerable persons get the Federal benefits they need. She knows how a health condition can disable a person. She's been committed to her own father Jesse, who is a Veteran, disabled and unable to care for himself.

So, not only is Madeline McIntosh there for her father, she is also here for you. She will listen to you tell your story and talk about your disability. Next, she will plan your case, gather your medical evidence and accurately complete the forms exactly the way that the Social Security Administration wants.
